Updates and clean up completed. Tulips expected to bloom in the spring!    To increase the curb appeal of the association, we are cleaning, trimming bushes and hedges, removing various dead or overgrown tree/plant life at the two community entrances at Long Rd. and Diley Rd. and at the Georges Creek signage area at the corner of Long Rd. and Diley Rd. One of the most important requirements of the Board of the Georges Creek HOA has is the communication with all owners. To cost effectively provide you with community news, association documents and notices of meetings, please go to www.georgescreekhoa.com and sign up with our website. As many of you know the cost of mailings has consistently gone up and if communication to owners requires mailing, this may cause our yearly dues to go higher. Please register with our community website today. Another duty of the board is to enforce our deed restrictions and any rules and regulations that have been created to create an environment that benefits all owners. Starting immediately, the Board, with assistance from the management company will begin consistent and proper rule enforcements. All owners are required to abide by the deed restrictions and failure may result in assessments and legal fees to your account, liens, and even extreme cases have resulted in foreclosure upon a property. To help owners, below we have provided a summary of items that need to be addressed immediately.

In addition to partnering with an association management company, we have also retained the services of the law firm of Kaman and Cusimano, who specializes in community association law. Managing and maintaining planned community associations requires many tasks, procedures, accounting, contracts, and a significant amount of time. Board members also must navigate state and local laws, HOA assessment collections, and our deed restrictions. By having a solid team of proper professionals, the community stands to not only benefit from the professional services but also allows the Board of Directors to manage the community more effectively, which will result in added value to our community and our individual properties.
